Meet the face behind the blooms! I’m Jacqui and Hill Road Blooms is a passion project of mine. I am a mum of two boys. We also have an ever growing collection of animals from dogs and cats to pigs, goats and rabbits.
The widespread use of chemicals today is something that I have tried to limit in our household. The more research I did, the more I became overwhelmed with the lack of regulation regarding pesticide and synthetic fertiliser use in the floral industry. This along with the lack of country of origin labelling for imported flowers really concerned me.
I grow sustainable spray free, seasonal flowers on my rural property based in Wellington, New Zealand. I absolutely love seeing my blooms being enjoyed in your homes! I have blooms to suit everyone, from special event flowers to significant occasion bunches along with weekly subscriptions and everything in between.
